  • You’re not alone in your neurosis, I’m way ahead of you!
But please answer a question that no one seems to have asked..why did we not play Ake instead of reshuffling the entire back line and playing that useless tool Zooma????
That level of poor decision making by Conte would unsettle any team…

    • Don’t think Ake was a listed sub so couldn’t be used.
However, I would have thought it better to have him that Zouma nd JT!?
      Ed

  • Steve Poppleton

You are far from being alone here. Great piece which encapsulates the way we as Chelsea fans tend to feel about life! That said, keep the faith, we’ll bounce back, and they’ll be polishing their bottles very soon!.

This is the time the fans are needed the most to help push the players over the line so instead of all this doom and gloom let’s stay positive and drive the players on.

  • Ok, Conte and Chelsea weren’t their normal selves strangely at the away defeat that said the home team wanted it more than us. Rather than undermine Conte who has done well in his first season, you will not come across an amicable good manager as he who took responsibility for this defeat, and talk about fight and win to get over the line. Conte will learn in the PL and both he and team needs our fan support and passion for the club. What we don’t want is some Jose fans becoming Conte out types. KTBFFH.

  • Good article and 45 years of watching Chelsea has me biting the nails as well. However all that really happened at the weekend was Tottenham beat Bournemouth at White Hart Lane and we had an off day at Old Trafford. That can happen to anyone. Agree Conte needs to get the zest back into a few of the players and find a way of supporting Hazard and Costa who are getting marked out of games – but he looks up to the task to me! ktbffh

Calm down trizia, theres no need for all the hysteria. Who have they beaten recently, Swansea, Burnley Watford Bournemouth. If they don’t beat these teams they have no hope of a league title. Think about it if they beat palace, west ham, hull , Leicester, man ure and arsenal then they might, only might , win a league title. They still have to depend on other results. So keep the faith and the blue flag flying high.
