Champions League Suspended

From the official Chelsea FC website:

“The 2019/20 Champions League campaign remains postponed until further notice, it was announced by UEFA in a statement today (Wednesday).

Chelsea’s trip to Bayern Munich for the second leg of the round of 16 tie had been postponed over a fortnight ago by UEFA because of the spread of COVID-19 throughout Europe and related decisions made by different governments.

That ongoing suspension remains the case following a video conferencing meeting with all 55 UEFA member associations. UEFA have said that further decisions on when club competitions could resume will be communicated as and when it is appropriate to do so.

The UEFA executive committee have also decided that all national team matches for men and women due to be played in June are postponed until further notice as well. This includes play-off matches for Euro 2020, which has itself been delayed by a year, as well as qualifying matches for the Women’s Euro 2021 championships.

The FA, Premier League and women’s professional game have agreed that their competitions in England will be postponed until no earlier than 30 April”
