Police compensate Stoke fan thanks to the FSF

Those of you with decent memories will remember the FSF's Watching Football Is Not A Crime! campaign which was launched in 2008 following the police's shocking use of new legislation which allowed them to serve mini-banning orders on groups of fans who had caused no trouble at all.

WELCOME TO CARLO ANCELOTTI
ancelotti.jpg Following the appointment today of Carlo Ancelotti as Manager of Chelsea FC, Chelsea Supporters Group would like to welcome him to the club. 

We hope he is able to settle into his new life in England and adjust to the Premier League as quickly and smoothly as possible, building on the great work Guus Hiddink has done over the last 3 months. 

We would also like to express our thanks to Guus, and wish him the best of luck for the future.

q__a_7.jpgThe latest Star on a Stool question and answer session was held in the Clarke Suite in the West Stand – obviously too popular for Franky’s.  In my opinion the suite is a better venue for such occasions.  The evening featured 2 old favourites answering questions from the floor and generally chatting with host Jason Cundy.

JC started by welcoming Charlie Cooke with the information that he was too young to have seen CC play but his dad did!

We now have two board members on the Fans Forum to take your issues to the club, (CSG and Home Season Ticket Holder reps).

Membership of the Chelsea Supporters Group is 'lifetime' at a cost of £7.50 (under 16's free). We are a 'not for profit' organisation and all proceeds are used to fund group activities within the membership.
