100 YEARS OF THE BLUES (posted by Mike Hockings)
Hopefully, you may remember Ron Hockings (the veteran Chelsea Supporter who has written a few statistically biased books on football). You may re-call he died just over a year ago, but had finished his final book “100 Years of the Blues” before this sad loss

His son Peter has been working hard since to get it published and, at last, it is now available.  I have attached a copy of the front cover of the new book. It is the statistical history of Chelsea Football Club and covers all first team games from inception (1905) to the end of season 2006. It includes commentary on the last 10 seasons and archive photographs.

It is the definitive book for all Chelsea supporters and will resolve all those arguments on Chelsea. Enjoy 471 pages of pure Chelsea indulgence.

The book (HardBack) is being sold outside the Millenium Hotel at the Shed entrance at the QPR game this Saturday. The purchase price is £25 ---- thereafter it will be available from the club superstore.

The Chelsea Supporters Group has been set up to work on YOUR behalf, so please let us know of any issues, and indeed praises, that you may have with regards to the club.

We now have two board members on the Fans Forum to take your issues to the club, (CSG and Home Season Ticket Holder reps).

Membership of the Chelsea Supporters Group is 'lifetime' at a cost of £7.50 (under 16's free). We are a 'not for profit' organisation and all proceeds are used to fund group activities within the membership.
